Dr. Cho received her Ph.D in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Cho’s area of expertise include statistical methods and models for population-based cancer surveillance research, in particular cancer survival models. She is interested in quantifying health status of population (e.g. comorbidity, life expectancy) and measurement related to cancer survivorship studies.

Dr. Cho has been involved in cancer surveillance research projects utilizing population-based cancer registry data including SEER, SEER-Medicare, and Korean Central Cancer Registry. She is currently devoted to promoting health data science for decision making process in cancer care and surveillance.
